Turks & Caicos Overview
Sun and sand; two things that will never be in short supply in the islands of the Turk & Caicos Islands. And then there's the water. It shimmers in shades of emerald and turquoise on expansive shallow flats, shines with diamond-bright clarity over coral reefs, and transitions to a deep sapphire along with the edge of steep underwater ramparts. Clear waters beckon to swimmers, paddlers, snorkelers and divers, but can also be appreciated from shore. These low-lying islands offer some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Some are flanked by upscale resorts and casual beach clubs, others deliver miles of solitude.
Diving
Experience wall diving in some of the clearest waters in the Caribbean. Cruise a channel where sharks and rays congregate. Witness a reef shark maternity ward. Pose for a photo against a ten-foot-wide elephant ear sponge. Follow sea turtles through a maze of underwater arches and swim-throughs.
